 Music has been a constant throughout my life; my mother was a classical singer, specialised in authentic performance practices so when I started playing the piano and harpsichord I focused on the early development of the piano in the 19th century and tried my hand at composition. 

Although I'm not making music anymore, it is still a big part of my life and what used to be an exclusively classical realm has expanded way into the contemporary period and across disciplines. Sound art, ambient music and early electronic (female!) pioneers are my current obsessions.

Sound also is something I love to incorporate in the things I make.
